-Exhaust Wrap: DEI offers two types of exhaust wrap, one for wrapped headers and one for turbo/manifold applications. The header wrap is made from a high-temperature resistant woven fiberglass material impregnated with an aluminum oxide resin. This provides excellent heat protection from 1,800°F to 2,500°F continuous and can withstand short-term exposure up to 3,000°F. The turbo/manifold wrap is made from the same high-temperature resistant woven fiberglass material, but it is impregnated with a silicon resin. This provides even better heat protection from 1,800°F to 2,700°F continuous and can withstand short-term exposure up to 3,200°F.
